Lineham Farm
Day 2
Day two  has been another busy day for Year 5 at Lineham Farm.  Children have had a FANTASTIC day, with highlights including feeding and meeting the farm animals and conquering heights on the climbing wall.  They are having an amazing time experiencing new opportunities, and spending time together.  They are looking forward to another fun day tomorrow before we head home.

Lineham Farm
Day 1

The children have had a fantastic first day at Lineham Farm.  The weather stayed dry, and there was even some sunshine, allowing pupils to spend time outdoors taking part in a variety of activities.  They have shown perseverence, determination and team work, and here are just a few photos to show how much they are thoroughly enjoying themselves.  They are all now asleep to re-energise for another packed day tomorrow.
Half Term homework.
Homework for the half term holiday will be given out next week.  The homework is also available underneath the 'Spellings and Homework' tab at the top of the page.  Homework should be completed and handed in on Tuesday 26th February.

Since the half term holiday Year 5 have been working really hard.  Last week pupils started to investigate our Science topic of forces.  They investigated the force different objects had around the classroom.

The pupils also went on a trip to the library to see an exhibition of the work of Nick Sharratt which the pupils thoroughly enjoyed.

Remember Times Table Rockstars is available to play throughout half term.  Well done to Nahor, Chi Chung and Anshu who were the top three scorers this half term.
If you are still unsure about your holiday homework here is the start of an example and some instructions.
Key Maths Facts

Encouraging the children to know these facts is a task which we as staff and you as parents must work together to achieve. Finding a few minutes when possible (for example, three times every week) to quiz the children in a fun, stress-free situation is the best method to promote learning and importantly to make sure the children do not forget!

Welcome back!
